Shabbat Programs

Tot Shabbat, 10:30-11:30
Children engage in an age-appropriate prayer activity and explore biblical stories using imagination, role play and song. Parents are welcome to stay. Babysitting is available.

Youth Service, Grades K-2, 10:30-11:30
Using a youth prayer book, children get acquainted with an abbreviated Shabbat morning service and are encouraged to lead prayers. In addition to learning the Torah portion of the week, participants play games to learn Hebrew letters and vocabulary.

Junior Congregation, Grades 3 - 6, 10:30 - 12:00
Participants learn the Shabbat morning service, and regular attendees are able to lead many portions of the service. This program is designed to be an enhancement of each child’s pre-bar/bat mitzvah program.

Middle and High School Program, grades 7-12, 11:30 - 12:15
In an informal setting, teens discuss the weekly Torah portion as it applies to their own lives.

Family Service

First Shabbat - Family Learning Service

The First Shabbat of Each Month 10:30-12:00.
The family learning Shabbat service encourages participation from all attendees. Parents, along with their children, engage in singing, Torah discussions and prayer in an atmosphere where everyone, regardless of their knowledge of Jewish prayer, feels comfortable and able to participate.
