Service Schedule

Shabbat Services
Congregation Shaarie Torah's Shabbat services are held in the large sanctuary. In keeping with Shaarie Torah's traditional roots, the siddur we use is the Traditional Prayer Book by De Sola Pool. Most of our seating is general family style, with designated separate seating for men and women to accomodate those who want the traditional arrangement. Services begin each Shabbat at 9:00 A.M. After services, we usually adjourn to our Social Hall for a traditional Shabbat Kiddush followed by Mincha.

Family Services on the first Shabbat of the month.
Besides our Shabbat morning services we have a Familiy Service usually held on the first Shabbat of each month facilitated by our Education Director. The service is educational, lively, and appropriate for families with children.

Learner's Minyan
The first Shabbat of each month, Rabbi Zuckerman leads a Learner's Minyan, designed to be a learning time about our services. It's at a slower pace with time for questions and participation. If you sometimes find yourself a little lost during regular services, then this is the place for you. Keith Berne is beginning to teach a Learner's Minyan usually on the third Shabbat of each month.

Kaballat Shabbat
Toward the last Friday of each month, Shaarie Torah often puts on a Shabbat Dinner for young and old. We serve a kosher dinner prepared in our own kitchen. Just prior to dinner we have Kaballat Service in our sanctuary.
